Calamity

Two human generations ago, a few industrious Northwallians struck out to establish a settlement past the safety of the wall. A naysayer gave the town it’s name, saying “This will end in calamity.” The townsfolk clung to that name, hoping to ward off bad luck, and founded Calamity, a hamlet of about 50 or so people. Before their fateful flight to the safety of Watchpost, the town boasted profitable farms and a reputation for a close knit community of boisterous, rough-hewn locals.

Now, reclaimed from the wilds, the town stands again, serving as a waypoint for adventurers striking out from Northwall.
